1. Can you match the paint color on my car?
Answer: Today's paint mixing technique uses the enhancement of a computer to mix colors from the vehicle's paint code. This technology now gives us the accuracy needed to paint match the vehicle.
2. Do I need an appointment for an estimate?
Answer: No appointment is needed. Please stop by anytime. Our business is open Monday - Friday 8AM to 5PM.
3. Do I have a choice of where my vehicle is repaired?
Answer: Absolutely... Kansas law allows you the freedom to choose the vehicle repair facility of your choice. Gardner Auto Body works with all insurance companies to return your vehicle back to pre-accident condition.
4. Can a vehicle be repaired that has frame damage?
Answer: We are experts in Unibody and full frame straightening. At Gardner Auto Body & Towing, we have the best in frame and measuring technology. We have experienced and qualified technicians.
5. How long will it take to repair my vehicle?
Answer: The length of time it takes to repair any vehicle depends on many factors, which include insurance approval, customer authorization, availability of parts and the extensiveness of the repairs. Most generally, a vehicle can be repaired within one week.
6. Can I get a rental car? How much will it cost?
Answer: Yes. We can provide a rental car company to take care of you right from our shop. The cost of the rental car varies by vehicle and the number of rental days needed. If you carry rental car coverage, your insurance company covers the rental car per your policy. If another insurance company is paying for the repairs on your vehicle, they may pay for the rental car as well.
7. How soon can I wash my car? How soon can I wax my car?
Answer: You may hand wash your vehicle with a mild soap after 14 days. Do not use a commercial car wash for 30 days. Do not drive on gravel roads. Chipping the finish is easily done within the first 30 days. Avoid tree sap, bird droppings, gasoline, oil, anti-freeze and windshield washer fluid on the painted areas of your vehicle. Please wait at least 90 days before waxing the finish on your vehicle.
